Summary of possible environmental labels in Mallorca

The environmental labels for vehicles in Mallorca are divided into four categories:

0 emission label, blue color: this label applies to 100% electric cars and plug-in hybrids with a range of more than 40 km.

ECO Aid label, blue-green color: this label refers to plug-in hybrids with a range of less than 40 km, as well as to non-hybrid vehicles, vehicles with natural gas engines and vehicles with liquid gas engines.

Label C, green color: this category includes cars and small vans that were registered from 2006 onwards, whether they run on gasoline or diesel. Vehicles with more than 8 seats and heavy commercial vehicles registered since 2014 also apply to this category.

Label B, yellow color: this label applies to cars and light vans registered since 2001 with gasoline engine or since 2006 with diesel engine. It also applies to vehicles with more than 8 seats and heavy commercial vehicles registered since 2006, regardless of whether they run on gasoline or diesel.
