Our beginnings (1988)
Anke Sevenster, who holds a degree in Philosophy and Art History, started her career in the insurance industry in 1988. She worked for the insurance company Mare Nostrum, holding various positions of responsibility. During this time, she also specialized in marine insurance.
AXA Insurance arrives in Spain (1991)
In 1991, AXA Seguros acquired the Mallorcan insurance company Mare Nostrum.
Founding of AXA Anke Sevenster (1993)
In 1993 the AXA Anke Sevenster agency, as we know it today, was established. Anke Sevenster and her daughter Helena Bennasar Sevenster opened the first office in the center of Palma. From the very beginning, we have placed importance on specialization and first-class customer service, following our corporate values.
Opening of the Santa Ponsa office (2001)
In 2001, we opened our office in Santa Ponsa after sisters Eva and Laura Bennasar Sevenster joined the team. Today, the agency is run by Helena, Eva and Laura, having successfully completed the generational transition.
Adaptation and digitization
Over the years, we have constantly evolved and adapted to social changes. We are committed to innovation and strive to offer excellent service to provide our clients with the best possible attention.
Third office in Llucmajor (2016)
In 2016, we opened our third office in Llucmajor to be closer to clients in the southeast of Mallorca and optimize our service.
Expansion of service offerings (2021)
In 2021, we expanded our offer with additional services. There we provide quick answers to our customers' electricity queries, as well as services such as vehicle ownership changes or NIE applications.
Anke Services Gestoría (2025)
We obtain the Administrative Manager (Gestor Administrativo) qualification and are registered under membership number 515 with the Official Association of Administrative Managers of the Balearic Islands (Colegio Oficial de Gestores Administrativos de las Islas Baleares).
